We are somewhat old-school in our approach. We focus on teaching students how to be better studiers and note-takers in addition to teaching them how to take standardized tests. We want our students to have the soft and hard skills to be better independent learners. We focus on teaching students content knowledge and test-taking strategies to truly master the ACT and SAT.

We charge by the hour for private tutoring sessions, which range from $200-$300 hourly. Proctored practice tests are a flat $60 fee. A 3% service fee is charged for credit card payments.

Yes. We guide the process of helping students make an informed decision about which test is better suited to their strengths.

Most students work with us once a week for an hour. We may recommend increased tutoring frequency depending on a student’s skillset and the timeline we’re working with.

The majority of our students begin working with us by the summer after sophomore year of high school. Depending on the student’s initial skillset and overall goals, the student may work with us for anywhere from three months up to one year.

Yes. A student can take the official ACT or SAT as many times as it is offered. Some students need to take the test officially several times before they are comfortable enough with the testing environment, especially if they haven’t had a lot of exposure to standardized tests. The average student takes the ACT or SAT two to four times officially.
